Tahini Garlic Sauce


  • ½ lemon, juice 

  • 2 Tbsp tahini

  • 2 gloves garlic, minced

  • 2 tsp olive oil

  • 2 pinches of mineralized salt
    or herbamare




  1. Combine all ingredients in little bowl and stir. Adjust ingredients as needed for the flavor you prefer. Some people may like more lemon juice while others prefer more of an olive oil flavor.

  2. Make larger batches in a food processor if desired.

  3. For added protein (if no protein is paired with meal)—add 2-3 Tbsp gelatin protein to mix. Thin with water as needed.

This a store bought version of this recipe. Honestly, I use this more than I make it and this is in my fridge most days of the week. Great veggie dip, meat spread or dressing if you thin it out with oil/water. You can find it at Trader Joes (usually by the hummus). Tahini is ground up sesame seeds which are crazy high in calcium! Great for non-dairy lifers.
