Strawberry Coconut-Cashew Smoothie Bowl

Serves: 1



In blender

  • ½ banana

  • ½ cup frozen strawberries (organic if possible)

  • 1-2 medjool dates (remove pit)


Top with:

  • ½ Tbsp unsweetened shredded coconut

  • ½  Tbsp raw hemp seeds

  • ½ tbsp ground flaxseed

  • 2 Tbsp raw cashews

  • 1 handful of spinach

  • ½ cup coconut water (or regular water if coconut water is not available)

  • 2 Tbsp gelatin protein powder

  • Ice (if desired for thicker consistency)



Stove-top Directions:

  1. Combine “in blender” ingredients and blend unto desired consistency, pour into bowl

  2. Add toppings to top

  3. Note: If you don’t have a very good blender, you can substitute 2 tbsp of raw honey for the dates, or omit them completely

Note: The smoothie bowl concept is great for those who prefer to eat their food rather than drink it. This can be done with ANY smoothie concoction you want!
